The Saga
Castle Window

Introduction

Let the journey begin ...

You reach the top of the worn stone stairs that rise up from the parking lot and before you lies a triple spired castle which has been only partially restored. Scattered here and there are huge timbers shoring up crumbling stone walls and the occasional construction worker clad in jeans and a bright yellow hard hat.

You walk hesitantly across a drawbridge that spans a dry moat and note the sound of your footsteps echoing below you.

You reach the main gate of the castle which is propped open with a large smooth stone. You step across the well worn threshold and wonder to yourself how many thousands of feet have crossed these time hardened timbers that form the entrance.

In the archway you pause and gaze upward toward a ceiling that seems to rival the height of the sky and note more signs of ongoing restoration. Behind you, the only sound is that of banners whipped by the light breeze, while before you lies a simple hand lettered sign ...

Welcome to 3moons Castle

3moons Castle is perpetually under reconstruction and/or renovation from the dungeons to the turrets. The towers and keeps of the Castle contain the original work of Solitaire, the Lady of the Castle.

Thank you for stopping by and please don't feed the dragons!

You chuckle at that last line. Dragons? HA!!

Mindful of the hazards of wandering around a partially restored castle, you hear what sounds like a roar coming from somewhere inside the castle. Deciding it is only some sort of sound attributable to the reconstruction, you decide to ascend a staircase off to your left -- right after you read the fine print at the bottom of the note.

The fine print says "The story you are about to read is an original work of fiction.
